HEY FAM.

Whats crackilackinnn? so i have officially made it three weeks. can someone please inform austin that i have exceeded his expectations of how long he thought i would last on a mission. i can now call my mission a success. so does anyone remember that episode of friends where rachel goes into labor so she goes to the hospital and then just waits until she is fully dilated. but while she is waiting like four new women all come in after and leave before her? k this is what i feel like. so earlier this week i watched all my roomies leave half of which came in the same time as me. and this past wednesday so yesterday i watched four new hermanas come into my room and guess what? THEY ALL LEAVE BEFORE ME. then after they leave in 2.5 weeks i get to watch more hermanas move into my room and then ill probably leave the same time as those girls. i finally understand what rachel greene feels like on that one episode and let me tell you people it is a bitter bitter feeling. (not that I’m bitter about it cause I’m TOTES not!) i do like my new roomies though. they just like to wake up SUPER early. here are the rules on waking up: we can wake up between any time from 5:50 am to 6:30 am but lights have to be on at 6:30 no later. but then you also cant wake up by yourself, you have to wake up with your companion. so since im a solo sister i figured i would just wake up with whichever companionship woke up latest. one of the companionships were waking up at 5:50 this morning....ehhhhhh no thanks. the other companionship wanted to wake up at six. are you for reals sisters????? hopefully this changes by tomorrow. you wouldn’t think 30 minutes makes a difference but i am dead right now. so sorry if my email makes no sense right now but my brain is kinda turned off. and by kinda turned off i mean it is turned off right now. so here’s my week.

saturday: this day was our first day in the TRC. i forgot what it stood for but its where we go and teach real people. now most of them are members already but it’s a lot less awkward than teaching your teacher who is role playing as an investigator. just cause for me it feels more sincere. i haven’t gotten used to this whole role playing thing we do all the time. plus the two people we taught were super nice and super patient with me when i attempted to speak spanish.

sunday: i had to lead the music in sacrament meeting for my zone. i don’t really think that the people who assigned this to me understood that i had no musical talent at all. i just got up there and started waving my arm. it finally ended up with half of my district leading in there laps for me so i could follow them. i didn’t realized that something like that took skill and actually meant anything. i think they know now not to ask me to lead anymore though. they learned their lesson. the hard way. we had the primary president speak for relief society whose talk was SO good. and then clayton christensen speak for the sunday devotional later that night. finished up the night with watching the testaments. there was a kissing scene so I’m sure you all can guess by now what happened. and you know what? it still doesn’t get old. love it every time!

monday: so on monday someone walked into my class with a perice of paper in his hand and said "is there anyone in here that is serving in spain?" (I’m the only one in my district who is) but i just automatically assume this is my visa and he is coming to give it to me. i jump out of my seat with more excitement that i have ever had in my life and yell "OH EM GEE (not even oh my gosh. the letters O. M. G. come out of my mouth. thank goodness my branch president wasn’t there to see that one) IS THAT MY VISA??!!!!!!!!" and he says, "no i was just making sure you didn’t think you were leaving tomorrow." OH FML. most disappointing moment ever. but a teacher that works here is from spain, hermano gomaz, so he took me aside to teach me the theta, teach me the culture, teach me how to approach spreading the gospel there, and just basically how great spain is. the whole time I’m like I KNOW!!!!! I LOVE SPAIN. really best hour of my life. cant wait.

tuesday: service in the am. but this morning i didn’t have to clean pee pee filled urinals i got to vacuum! so i knew it was going to be a good day after that. elder goddard and elder asay left on tuesday also for the guatemalan MTC. now we only have 5 people in our district left. then our devotional that night was by jose alonso. oh and i attempted another HSI today. where you speak your mission language the whole day. i made it till about 12:30. since i made it 2 hours longer than i did the week before i counted it as a success. one day i shall actually accomplish the whole day. one day.

wednesday: uhh kinda told you about yesterday. new roomies. basically it.

thursday: went to the temple this morning and then wrote some letters. now im writing this email.
